This is going to be one of the more unusual articles that I’ve written. At the Warrior Forum today, I saw an interesting thread title. “Does As Seen On TV Add Credibility?” Without even blinking an eye, it made me realize so many things on both ends of the spectrum. Well, this article is going to take a look at both sides of this issue from the perspective of the seller and the buyer, not just from perceived credibility but from the cold hard realistic view.

Let’s start with the perceived credibility from the point of view of the buyer. Sure, when a buyer sees “As Seen On TV” they are more likely to believe that the product is legit, as if being on TV makes something legitimate. Not sure where this notion comes from but that’s the perception. The reality is a whole different can of worms. See, what most things don’t understand is that anybody can buy ad time on TV or simply get their product reported on because there were suspicions of inappropriate behavior. The reason the product was on TV may have nothing to do with how good the product is. That’s the reality. But few ever think about it.

Now, let’s take a look at it from the point of view of the seller. The perception is that if the seller puts “As Seen On TV” on his sales page, this is automatically going to add credibility and increase sales. However, the reality doesn’t exactly have to be quite that way. For one thing, in some niches, such as the “make money online” niche, many prospects know the routine. They understand that “As Seen On TV” doesn’t really mean squat. So your little label on your sales page isn’t going to mean beans. However, in niches where consumers are not so informed, yes, it can mean a lot.

This is why it’s important that you know who your target market is and test things out. What may work for one niche may not work for another.

Of course, actually getting your product on TV is another matter altogether.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Get Internet On PSP – It Really Can Be Done, And In Five Simple Steps

Did you know you can use your PSP to pick up free wireless internet? Most people don’t even realize this but it’s pretty straightforward once you know how! Sit back and relax while you learn to get internet on your PSP!

Requirements:There are a couple of fundamental things you will need before you can start surfing the web with your PSP. The first is some form of wireless internet source. It doesn’t matter where it comes from, could be in your home or in your local Starbucks, all that matters is that you are in an area where you can get internet. Psp wireless settings follow the 802.11b wireless networking protocols, which are just about the most common in the world, so most kinds of wireless network connection will be just fine. Also note that a copy of Wipeout:Pure is necessary to get internet on your PSP.

Sitting comfortably? Ok, prepare to learn how to get internet on PSP!

Step 1- Switch on the PSP and go to the System Menu, and then enter “Network Settings”. From there go into “Infrastructure mode”, and select a connection to edit. If you already have a home connection set up or something, just select this as the one you are going to edit. Leave the name of the profile as it is, and skip the WLAN settings if they are already set up.

Step2- Go into “Address Settings” click on “Custom” and be sure to leave “IP Address Setting” as Automatic. Believe me; adjusting this will not help you get internet on your PSP!

Step 3- Go into “DNS Setting” and click on manual. This is where we need to type the address of the web gateway we will be using. The most popular one to use for this is the gateway at Endgadget, so input the numbers “208.42.28.174″ as the Primary DNS IP, and put zeros for the Secondary DNS IP. (0.0.0.0). If for any reason this gateway is not working you can usually find others with a quick Google search.

Step 4- In the “Proxy Server” options, select “Do Not Use” All you need to do from there is confirm everything, and save it all by pushing X when prompted.

Step 5- Launch Wipeout:Pure as normal, and go into the Downloads menu. When asked to select a connection, choose the one you have just been editing, and you should be presented with the Endgadget web screen. Et voila! How to get internet on PSP!

Provided you have the resource mentioned above, it’s pretty easy to get internet on your PSP. Once you have it all set up you’ll probably wonder how you got by without it!

Ask any kid from first grade to college to name the phone, media player or tablet that they covet the most and you’ll hear iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad. Brand awareness and demand for Apple products among the jungle gym crowd has never been higher. What most parents don’t realize though is that if appropriate safety checks aren’t put in place, Apple’s wonderful devices could be an unguarded gateway to dangerous forbidden fruits.

While most parents know they should use parental controls on their home computers, according to a survey by McAfee, four out of five parents fail to turn such software on. Nearly a third of parents left their kids alone when surfing, and almost half of parents said they didn’t know if their kids had social networking accounts at sites like Facebook. (Think your kid is too young? Over 20 percent of 4th – 5th graders have a social networking profile. According to a Cox Communications study, 72 percent of teens have a social networking profile and nearly half have a public profile viewable by anyone.)

Over half of parents don’t monitor their kids’ desktop or laptop usage (according to an MSN Europe survey). When it comes to mobile Internet safety, even the most tech savvy parents find it next to impossible to monitor their kids’ mobile habits. Even if kids only use their mobile devices during the commute to and from school, they need to use them safely. Personal monitoring is not always possible. Even when they’re in the same room, a parent can’t read what’s on a small screen without sitting right next to their child.

Fortunately, there are technologies that can help. Parents can create mobile safety for their children, and it isn’t as difficult as they may think.

Mobile computing is the fastest growing technology sector, with youth market penetration rising higher each day. Seventy-six percent of all eight to 18-year olds have iPods or other MP3 players. Teens spend at least 49 minutes a day consuming media on mobile devices, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation Study.

Mobile technology can expose young people to the good, the bad and ugly of the Internet. According to a Pew Internet study, 70 percent of teens are exposed to pornography accidentally on the web.

The Apple of every kid’s eye:With over 120 million iOS devices sold, as of September, 2010 (67.6 million iPhones, 7.2 million iPads, 45.2 million iPod touches), Apple dominates the mobile market. Beyond its obvious cool factor, the availability of thousands of kid-friendly apps means that youth brand loyalty is already locked in. In addition to being “cool”, iOS devices are changing the way learning happens in the classroom and at home.

There are pilot programs using mobile learning in all 50 states. Many are centered around the iPod touch as the primary computer to replace all textbooks, coursework, graphing calculators, etc. The iSchool Initiative estimates each $150 iPod touch would save at least $600 per student per year. Those powerful numbers mean that more school programs will require an iPod touch. (A few schools will even standardize over to the iPod touch’s brother, the larger and more expensive iPad, which runs on the same iOS platform.)

Both parents and school districts will need to find ways to secure these devices to make them child-friendly at home and in the classroom. This isn’t just a matter of safety, there’s money involved. Schools that enable mobile learning need to implement Mobile Child Internet Protection standards to enforce a standard of Internet safety and remain eligible for federal funding.

As more school systems test Apple’s iOS products in the classroom, both parents and educators need to make sure that the first defense against inappropriate content (web filtering software) is set on kids’ iPhones, iPods and iPads.

Some think that the parental controls on iPods, iPhones and iPads are insufficient. While parental controls are important for desktops and laptops, mobile parental controls need to happen above and beyond what is built into the technology of the devices. To ensure that your mobile kids are safely surfing the mobile web, here are 10 tips to keep your child safe online.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #1: Safari could be a safari of unfiltered content. As great as Safari is at displaying sites (as long as they don’t use Flash), it has no web filtering parental controls. None. Zip. Zilch. If your kids want to chat on PredatorsRUs.com, Safari will let them. First and foremost, change the iPod’s Safari browser to one that allows web filtering.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #2: Invest in a leading online content filtering service.Services like Mobicip ( http://www.mobicip.com/ ) have won Parent’s Choice awards and are used by school districts across the country to filter dangerous online content. There are a number of child-safe iPod browsers on the market. Read the reviews and choose the best-rated child-safe iPod browser in your youngster’s age range.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #3: Use the iPod’s basic parental controls.Once you have installed the child-safe iPod browser, disable Safari. But be warned, kids are clever. If kids don’t like using a child-safe iPod browser, they will simply download another browser. Here’s how you stop them.

On the iPod’s Settings menu, choose Restrictions, and turn off Safari, YouTube, Installing Apps and Location. You can also turn off the camera, if that is appropriate.

While you are at it, restrict the kind of content they can download from iTunes to age appropriate levels. Turn off In-App Purchases.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #4: Search is king.Search is where the action is. (That’s why Google has a market cap of a $151 billion.) Children most often encounter inappropriate content by accident through searches. You need a child-safe iPod browser that enforces safe searches on all popular search engines. Make sure that this feature cannot be disabled by changing the search engine preferences.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #5: Keep your blacklist updated automatically. There are hundreds of thousands of new web sites created every day. (Spammers alone create 57,000 new sites each week.) If you block PredatorsRUs.com today, the bad guys will create Predators4Friends.com tomorrow. Make sure your child-safe iPod browser constantly updates its list of threats.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #6: Use ratings as a guide.Even the most dedicated parent can’t surf and judge every new web site, so make sure your child-safe iPod browser uses ratings such as the Family Online Safety Institute’s movie style ratings to choose which sites your kid can visit.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #7: Use a browser with real-time filtering.Because your child may be the first to discover an inappropriate site, make sure your child-safe iPod browser can detect inappropriate content on the fly.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #8: Encrypt your kid’s traffic.Bad guys use free WiFi hotspots to snoop on people’s Internet traffic. That guy over there isn’t working on his novel, he’s watching your child’s iPod use remotely. Get a child-safe iPod browser that encrypts web traffic over unsecured WiFi hotspots.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #9: Wireless safety extends to 3G and 4G too.Apple has restricted some iPod, iPhone and iPad functions to WiFi only, while others work on your carrier’s 3G or 4G signal. Make sure your iPod’s child-safe browser’s safety measures stay intact when you switch from cellular to WiFi, or vice versa.

Child mobile Internet safety tip #10: Allow age appropriate web use. Keep in mind that as your kid ages, you’ll want a child-safe iPod browser that has graduated levels of web access for older kids.

Mobile Internet safety solutions start first and foremost with web filtering. Block the sites that are going to cause problems. But by far, the best way to protect your kids is to sit down and discuss mobile Internet safety. Here are a few sites to get you started.

Protecting Kids on Mobile Devices – Online Safety Online safety is vastly underestimated by parents and children alike. Here is a compilation of popular resources available online for the discerning parent.

In today’s world, the internet is considered to be one of the most useful tools for people to communicate, find information and to buy goods and services.

It is also a great tool to start your own online home based business. With the fast and relatively inexpensive data transfer that the internet provides, it makes sense to put it to use and to try and earn an income or just make life easier.

However, with all the advantages of the internet, there are also some disadvantages. Because all financial dealings are made over the internet, it is estimated that billions or even trillions of dollars are being exchanged online everyday. This has spawned a new generation of criminals. These cyber criminals develop programs or software called spyware that invades your personal computer and starts gathering information such as your financial or personal details and sends it back to the person who developed the software.

The thought of letting a stranger look at your personal and financial information without you knowing about it can definitely make you cringe in fear. Armed with this information, the cyber criminals may be able to steal money from you by committing a very serious crime called identity theft or identity fraud.

It is a fact that many people already have been victimized by identity theft resulting in their losing money or even facing charges for crimes they did not commit. This is why it is very important for you to secure yourself from these crimes not just in the real world, but also in the cyber world as well.

You can stop these crimes from happening by simply installing the best kind of internet security software available. Internet security software are programs that combat modern day threats, such as viruses, spyware, adware, trojans, keyloggers and hackers. It is software that will protect your computer from being invaded by these malicious programs. It is an absolute necessity to have this kind of software in your computer.Good internet security software should include:

o Antivirus – This particular software is an absolute ‘must have’ in your internet security suite to protect you against viruses that are circulating the internet today. The software should also have an automatic update feature to keep pace with new viruses that emerge regularly.

o Anti spyware / adware – Spyware and adware are very dangerous programs that can give the developer access to your files in your computer that may contain financial and personal information. This is why this feature should be included in your internet security software and should be active and also automatically updateable.

o Firewall -This particular software prevents unwanted guests be they hackers or viruses from entering your computer.

o Parental control – An optional program which you may want to include in your internet security suite if you have children. It is designed to control their internet activities and prevent them from visiting websites that may contain violence, pornography or other unsuitable material.

These are the main things that you should look for in internet security software. With all these features, you will be able to protect yourself and your family from being victims of serious and malicious crimes which are becoming commonplace on the internet today.

Many people use Internet Explorer to surf the Internet. It is easy because it is installed on all Window’s computers (which is what the majority of computer users use). They simply click the blue E and many people do not even realize they have another choice. The following is a basic description for both browsers that might help you decide which one you would prefer.

*The Pros*Before version 8 was released, there would not have been much competition. Version 8 has greatly improved Internet Explorer’s functionality and security. Internet Explorer is now considered much safer and the features are much more expanded.

IE added some unique features to their browser you won’t find elsewhere. The accelerators are probably the most popular and beneficial. These provide a one click access to some of the most common searches on the Internet. You can now highlight text on the browser and quick jump to a website preset with search results for the selected text. For example, with two clicks you can look up the definition of a word or the location of an address with multiple search providers and in a new tab. This not only saves time, but opening another tab avoids losing your spot. For usability and ease of use, Internet Explorer is top rate.

*The Cons*The speed is still an issue. It’s many features and programming have created a long time reputation for Internet Explorer. Both downloading and running this program has been known to be more complicated and take longer. Furthermore, since Internet Explorer is so tightly integrated to the Window’s operation system, many complicated problems can occur during an upgrade, even if the upgrade in uninstalled. IE has been known to cause computers to crash after upgrading to version 8.

As far as features are concerned, oddly, Microsoft has seemed to build a reputation to lag behind other browsers. Perhaps it is because they is too consumed with building patches for problems and security threats that come with each new version of Internet Explorer, and the Windows operating systems. Another reason could be that IE is used by the largest group of computer users, especially those who are not familiar with the computers, the Internet, and downloads. These people use Internet Explorer either because it the easiest option (any others would require a download), or they don’t know about the others.

For whatever reason, IE was the last version to adopt tabbed browsing, and still does not have some very basic features available on most other browsers. For example, It does not allow tabs to be moved into a separate window, and windows to become tabs of other windows. It also does not offer to remember passwords on every log in page. IE8 is much better than previous versions, so Microsoft may be breaking their tradition of being behind soon.

We dwell in a world that’s increasingly dependent upon computers along with the Internet so that you can achieve even some of the most modest of tasks that once would have taken a drive into the library. This trip into the library may well have taken anywhere from a matter of minutes and a cursory glance through the document catalog or several hours used up sifting through dusty shelves and outdated collections of publications to be able to locate relevant information to the topic being researched.

Sadly, the clear advantages of the data age, for example immediate accessibility to information twenty four hours a day seven days a week with just the press of several keys is proving itself to be a logistical nightmare relating to safeguarding the security of households and corporations around the world. There exists a huge amount of information hovering about in the online world and as individuals we unintentionally contribute more information every instance we input a telephone number, address, or checking account number into our computer systems. The issue is that we often really need to enter these items so as to acquire the information or merchandise we want from our pcs.

To protect your children from Online predators and information that simply is not suitable for their viewing requirements install parental controls on the PC. Your children may possibly complain but one or two hours of complaints is well worth the satisfaction you have realizing that nothing could be getting through that you do not need them to watch. This may lead to some uproarious moments as preferred websites could be tagged for bizarre reasons you’ll need to consider those on a case-by-case basis and decide whether you prefer to allow your children access to these websites that are often banned with no valid cause or inappropriateness. No system is perfect but doing nothing will be far worse.

One more thing you ought to do in order to more closely check their Online goings-on is keep the pc in a central vicinity in the home rather than allowing them to bring computer systems into the privacy of the bedrooms where they are disregarded. You should also remember that even the very best and brightest amongst us are quite likely to be outshone by our kids in terms of computer know-how. Don’t believe that token efforts will achieve the large consequences you hope to accomplish.

Talk about appropriate online safety procedures with your kids, specially your teenagers. Remind them of these items frequently and drill it into them. Protection is the most important thing when having discussions on the web, in chat rooms, or even within web-logs and websites. It’s incredible how much information which is unintentionally given away through conversations that may never have been given out if direct questions had been asked with the intention to acquire that information.

For that reason it really is even more essential that you stress the urgency of confidentiality on the Internet. Players names, practice times, school names, and athletics involvement needs to be kept to a minimum around the Web as all of these things can be utilized so one can segregate and pinpoint your youngster. Images should also be limited in all honesty, particularly those in cheer leading or ball team uniforms that may easily be used to identify locality as well as those which consist of car tags and additional relevant information which is identifying in nature. While this will likely seem tough to your teenager it’s much better being tough with them than go through the sorrow and uncertainty of a missing adolescent or worse as a result of Internet predators.

Internet safety for children is the responsibility of each and every caring parent and must never be taken lightly. With any luck this piece of writing has alerted you to the dangers and provided some approaches for shielding your child.

Internet Privacy 2010 – "Super Cookies" and the Global Debate

The concern and debate about the ethical issues of a third party tracking and selling PC users online habits is not new in the Internet age. Yet the debate on personal Internet privacy is dramatically heating up in 2010 and gaining worldwide attention from civic and governmental organizations around the globe. The impetus for renewed focus on standardized levels of consumer online privacy is largely fueled by new technologies in cookie tracking tools that is garnering a name for itself in some industry circles as “super cookies.”

To understand the latest round in the online privacy debate we must first get a brief, non-technical overview of what is a super cookie and how it differs from a standard browser cookie. The standard browser cookie is familiar to most PC users. It is a non-viral small piece of text that is stored on a user’s computer by a web-browser primarily for authentication, session tracking, user preferences, shopping carts, etc. but also allows for personal information and preferences data capture. Web bugs are particularly sneaky cookies that can be deposited on your PC through your browser or via a small 1X1 pixel graphic that can be stored in a document or email that someone sends to you. Standard browser cookies are, for the most part, easy to identify and delete, if desired, through your browser’s cookie management tools.

The new breed of super cookie transcends traditional environments and can be used for the same good or questionable purposes. What really differentiates a super cookie from a standard cookie is how they go about tracking a user’s online activity, what they are storing, and the difficulty in identifying and managing a super cookie. Today’s super cookies are synonymous with Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight cookies, which are browser independent.

According to a WIRED.com article I read recently about a UC Berkeley report on Internet privacy, the phenomenal explosion of non-browser cookies created via tools such as Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight should give us pause for thought. The article cites from the report that “More than half of the Internet’s top web sites use Flash cookies to track users and store information about them.”

Adobe Flash software is estimated to be installed on roughly 98% of personal computers. So, when you visit a site like YouTube you’re likely using a multi-media tool like Adobe Flash that can deposit a cookie on your system each time you visit. The cookie is not actually in your browser where you could normally find and delete it. They are browser-independent so even if you switched your browser, that cookie would still be on your system, following your next online visit and accumulating an ongoing profile of your habits. What is most alarming is that few sites acknowledge use of Flash in their privacy statements.

The fundamental concern is how much and to what extent of anyone’s online habits can be stored for behavioral targeting and contextual online advertising when the user is unaware of how and what is being tracked? Especially when the user believes he is taking adequate steps to protect his privacy. Globally, the question on the table is “Who regulates the tracking and selling of personal and online purchase data?”

With the proliferation of super cookies, industry and government regulation is evolving as an agenda topic in the debate on Internet privacy as it relates to stored online activities. The “Do not call” telemarketing database protection of several years ago (and unsolicited FAX many more moons previously) is actually working to a great extent. It’s not flawless but it does offer consumers some level of protection against invasion of privacy. The same applies to the CANSPAM laws for opting out of a company’s unsolicited email. It’s not OK to call me during dinner time if I explicitly ask not to be. Similarly, if I opt out of a company’s email solicitations, I should expect no more emails from that company within a reasonable timeframe that allows the company to flag me as “no email” in their database. Yet now, our online habits are being tracked, bought and sold without our knowledge and subtly re-sold back to us in the way of our next “suggested” site visit or “contextual ad.”

The consumer privacy ramifications of super cookies are already on the radar for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), many U.S government State offices, and global Internet privacy organizations. It will be interesting to follow the outcome of the recent FTC roundtable debates on this topic held in California in January 2010. Also, let’s see how Barbara Anthony, the Undersecretary of Consumer Affairs in Massachusetts may break ground with her declaration that she wants similar consumer online data protection in her home state by March 1st. All we ask for when it comes to our online privacy is somewhat of a gentlemen’s agreement relative to disclosure and recourse. We just want a level playing field, regulated by the industry or the government that protects us in an age of unscrupulous big business practices, identity theft and invisible personal data collection.

On the technology side, we know that there will be vast increases in the code and practices that spawn viruses and malware and spam. We also know that creative good-guy vendors will stay pretty close to the heels of the bad guys who create these vile things. But super cookies aren’t coming from bad guys in an unidentified location. They’re coming from large companies with heavy ties to the industry and deep-pocket access to government lobbyists.

The online user is at a disadvantage because super cookie management technology seems to be largely in its infancy. Even if there is government or industry self-regulation in the coming months and years, the user needs a comprehensive tool to auto manage and manually adjust all types of permissible and non-permissible cookies according to their personal data protection requirements. With all the renewed global discussion about online privacy, especially since the recent proliferation of super cookies, 2010 will likely be a watershed year for positive changes in online consumer protection.

Why you need a resume even if you own your own business

As a business owner, you may think that having an up-to-date resume is not as important as it would be if you were actively seeking a new job. However, having an updated resume is critical for any professional, even if you are not looking for a job. Small business owners should have an updated resume in order to be able to share their professional experience with potential investors, vendors, clients, etc.

If you have a viable business idea and are looking to start your own business, it is important that you have a very well written, polished, professional resume. You will need to use your resume, along with your business plan, in order to gain investment opportunities for your business and gets started. Your resume should be written as if you are applying to be a business owner of the organization you wish to start. While this may sounds silly, as you would of course be working for yourself, it is important to show your investors that you have professional experience to run the business you are proposing. Your qualifications, career goals, education and prior experience should all be aligned with your business venture.

Once you have started your own business, you will come in contact with vendors, independent contractors, and clients who will want to know what you are about before they decide to do business with you. While you can promote your business through a web site, or other advertising mediums, if you are new to what you do, people will want to know about you. To help assure then in your abilities, you can use a resume to let them know of your qualifications. You can use the same resume for your vendors or clients as you used youre your investors. Keep in mind that any financial goals pertaining to the business, that may be necessary for your investors, should never appear on the resume or personal letter you send to your clients or business partners. Your professional summary should be changed to show how you would service your clients or your vendors; a statement about client satisfaction would be necessary in a resume you are to share with your clients, for example.

Additionally, as a small business owner, you may have an opportunity to branch out into another business, start a new location of your existing business, partner with another company, or even have an opportunity to go work for a larger company in your field. In each of these scenarios, you may need an up-to-date resume highlighting your professional and entraprenureal experience. It is best to have a prepared resume, and keep updating it or customizing it for specific audiences as necessary. Avoid finding yourself in a position of not having a resume when requested, or having to develop a resume from a blank page in a short period of time. This exposes you to appearing unprofessional, and not representing yourself or your business in a professional and serious light. Thus, you will want to have a well-written and a well-formatted resume even if you own your own business; marketing yourself well, in addition to marketing your business well, will assure your success as a business owner.

If you’re going to succeed as an Internet marketer, one of the things that you need to be able to do is evaluate your strengths and weaknesses. You can do this on your own, if you can be objective enough, or, if that’s not an option, you can have others do it for you. This article is going to discuss why this is so important for Internet marketing success…starting off with a brief story.

This story isn’t directly related to IM, but it is relevant. After you hear it, you’ll understand why.

I’m a songwriter. I’ve been writing songs for over 25 years. Just recently, I entered a songwriting contest and just got the results back. Each of my songs was evaluated on several components. What I learned from these evaluations was that my songwriting was strong in melody but weak in lyrics. This told me that I needed to do one of two things. Either work on improving my lyrics, or find a lyricist who WAS better at that aspect to complement my music.

How does this apply to Internet marketing? It’s very simple. Each aspect of it requires a different skill. There is ad writing or sales copy writing, organization, web design and other skills. I know very few people in this world who are great at everything. I certainly am not. What you need to do is look at each of the things you need to do as a marketer and evaluate them or have somebody else do it for you.

The areas where you are strong, work to make them stronger. For example, if you find that you have a flair for writing ad copy, you might even consider going into the area of copywriting. However, if you find that writing ads is something that makes you want to pull your hair out of your head, you might be better off hiring a copywriter to write your sales pages for you. Naturally, you can try to improve that skill, but understand that it’s going to be at the cost of time and/or money. Weak sales pages don’t sell as well as strong ones.

Being objective about yourself is one of the hardest things in the world to do. I have to work at it every single day. But I understand that if I delude myself to believe that I am better at something than I really am, that is going to ultimately hurt my bottom line.

What I want you to do today is write down all the things that you do as a marketer and honestly evaluate your skill in each area. If you can do this, you’re on your way to seeing where you either need to improve or get somebody else to do the job for you.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

If you are considering starting an internet business you will enjoy this article. We are going to look at three of the most common legitimate internet businesses people are starting and running from the comfort of their own home.

It is very exciting to help people and in turn make money online doing it.

1. Provide a service. Other Internet business owners will pay you to do things for them.

Often they do not have the time to do it themselves. In some instances they do not have the knowledge or the skill level to do it as well.

An excellent example of this is writing blog articles. There are people making great part-time money writing blog articles from home.

There are other Internet marketers who are earning a full time living writing articles on various categories. Besides the money you you make you are never bored as a blog writer. And you are providing a valuable service because there are millions of blogs that need content added to them right now.

2. Sell information products. You can develop your own information products or sell affiliate products by joining their programs.

Information that answers questions and solve people’s products sell like hotcakes on the Internet today. ClickBank is an example of a digital information affiliate program you can join for free.

If you would like to create a product of your own you can develop information and sell it in numerous ways including eBooks, reports, audio and video, CD’s, and so on.

Whether you create products, or sell other people’s products, you can make a lot of money selling information with this legitimate Internet business.

3. Affiliate marketing. Getting paid to sell other people’s products is a fantastic Internet business to be in. There are literally millions of affiliate programs you can join.

This business model has been offering ways for people to make money on the Internet for over 15 years now. It is one of the most legitimate forms of Internet marketing that the average person can get involved and literally be making money from day one.

In summary this is three of the most popular legitimate Internet businesses to start. Providing a service allows you to be your own boss and help other Internet businesses.

Selling information products will always be popular because people will pay for information that helps them solve problems. Affiliate marketing is a quick way to get started selling other people’s products and it can be very profitable to!
